“Turning Blue” – A film of Vermont’s political impact on the national stage

“All eyes are on Vermont’s plan for a single-payer system, starting in 2017. If it flies, it will change everything, with many states sure to follow suit by setting up their own versions.”

– Left wing filmmaker Michael Moore, New York Times

The left nationwide is playing an active role in Vermont. Are you? The Ethan Allen Institute launched a short video documentary, Turning Blue, about Vermont’s political past, present, and intended future as a “Petri dish” of far left wing experimentation, particularly in regard to a national Single Payer Healthcare system. For decades, the Left’s goal has been to take over Vermont. Now, the goal is to use Vermont to take over the rest of the country….

Excellent documentary, very well done. As a lifelong Vermonter, I’ve seen these changes take place and it is really disheartening. We need to continue working to change the legislature, but more importantly, the heart of the people. Educating them in this manner is just what is needed.

Sounds just like what ALEC does for conservative legislation across the country, except this process is democratic, transparent and doesn’t have corporations writing their own legislation.

Without seeing the movie,I can surmise how Vermont went from Red to Blue.In years past, the God fearing, hard working, self reliant Red people died off and the land was mostly bought up by Blue people south of here. The Blue people over ran the school system infested by the Blue school union such that Blue people are graduated from the schools, they ,having been brainwashed by a system that exists not for the good of the school system but to self perpetuate themselves. Now criminals flock to a state that has the highest per capita drug infestation, lowest percentage of religious people. This scum is let out again and again to commit more crime. Now in neighboring New York if you go to jail one can get a college education. The Red states are going to get so fed up with this that they will break away from the union and civil war 2 will break out. Now whether this will just be a political break like the forming of a new country[read history of Slovakia] or will it be a shooting war like civil war 1 remains to be seen.

Was it Miss Lieberman who called herself a consevative democrat a/or was it a republican candidate’s daughter who called herself a progressive republican, or what? Andare we the only state that still has a “Progressive Party?”
